New River Middle School
"Home of the Sharks"  New River Middle School, participants of the Marine Science MAGNET program allows students to experience and learn about marine science and its connection to our environment. MAGNET students will be exposed to a wealth of marine-related, educational opportunities, however ALL of our New River students will exposed to environmental enlightenment . The NRMS Marine Science program provides an in-depth exploration of Florida’s coastal habitats. It emphasizes an appreciation of the environment, the conservation of our coastal ecosystem, and an understanding of the South Florida Water Management District, and other Florida agencies and marine industries.
